This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Center for Global Health (CGH) located in either Atlanta, Georgia; New York, NY; or Washington, DC.

As a Public Health Advisor you will:
Lead the development of local, State, national and/or international program operations and initiatives for assigned operating public health programs.
Formulates local, State, national and/ or international program and project goals, objectives, operating policies, strategic program plans, guidelines, standards and priorities.
Represents CDC at technical, policy and strategic planning meetings which entail meetings and coordination with collaborators and donor agencies.
Serves as the technical contracting officer’s representative (COR) for grants, contracts and cooperative agreements.
Prepares, reviews, negotiates, and/or monitors collaborative agreements, contracts, and/or memorandum of agreements.
Oversees the development of work plans for implementation of activities and ensures submission and review of all required progress reports.
Occasional travel – As required by the position.
